The Observer Pattern: The Full Code

The complete Observer Pattern project, browsable file by file, organized the same way it would actually sit in a real codebase.

The last three posts built the observer pattern piece by piece. This post is the reference: the whole project, as real files in real folders.

One small, real quirk worth noticing: the Java version's folder is weatherstation, not weather-station like the other three languages. Java package names can't contain a hyphen, so a real Java project just doesn't use one here.

main.cpp
#include "weather-station/WeatherStation.h" #include "weather-station/PhoneDisplay.h" #include "weather-station/WindowDisplay.h" int main() { WeatherStation station; PhoneDisplay phone(&station); WindowDisplay window(&station); station.add(&phone); station.add(&window); station.setTemperature(72); station.setTemperature(68); return 0; }
Run this yourself: This exact file layout lives in the code-practice repo. Clone it, cd into whichever language folder, and build it the same way as the other labs in this series.
